Hormone

Testosterone is the primary male sex hormone produced in the testicles. This hormone in the adult male is important for the maintenance of muscle mass, bone strength, energy, and sex drive.

As men age, testosterone levels decrease, starting around age 30-40, and the decrease can be around 1-2% per year.

Testosterone levels should be checked if you have symptoms of low testosterone.

Signs and Symptoms of Low Testosterone:

  • Low libido/diminished sex drive
  • Erectile dysfunction/impotence
  • Poor sleep
  • Difficulty concentrating
  • Fatigue or lack of energy
  • Lack of motivation or depression
  • Decreasing muscle mass and strength
  • Gynecomastia/enlarged breast tissue

At FORTE Men's Health, your testosterone level will determine the need for TRT (testosterone replacement) or supplementation to enhance your level.
